David Reinoehl
Luther “David” Reinoehl, age 81 of Brazil, IN died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.
He was born August 28, 1928 in Brazil, IN as the son of Lyle and Mary E. Thomas Reinoehl. He graduated from Van Buren High School. He served in the U.S. Army until his Honorable Discharge. He married Vera Louise Hallett October 20, 1957 in Lena, IN. He worked as a farmer and a substitute mail carrier and spent 20 years with the Local 20 Sheet Metal Workers until his retirement. He was a member of the McKinley Hill Church of Christ.
David was a loving husband, father and grandfather who always enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved the outdoors, gardening and hunting mushrooms. He also enjoyed watching his grandchildren’s sporting and school activities.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Olive Sumner, Lois Willison, and infant sister, Letha Alice Reinoehl; brothers, Wilbur, Leslie, and Robert Reinoehl.
He is survived by his wife,Vera Louise Reinoehl; children, Melissa Konkey (John) of Terre Haute, Lori Bussi of Boseman, MT, Mona Mager (Doug), Jim Reinoehl (Traci), Amy Rowan (Kenny), and Sheryl Eppert (Randy), all of Brazil; brothers, Phil Reinoehl and Dean Reinoehl (Maxine); sister, Roberta Ooley; sister-in-law, Wanda Hallett; grandchildren, Jennifer Winters, Andrew Konkey, Sarah Konkey, Garrett Mager, Logan Reinoehl, Landon Reinoehl, Maddi Reinoehl, Mikayla Rowan, Kennedy Rowan, Tess Eppert, Audrey Eppert, and Samuel Eppert; great granddaughter, Jade Winters; and other extended family.
Visitation will be 4 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 28th at Moore Funeral Home and one hour before services on Thursday. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Rick Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the SOS (Serving On The Streets) PO Box 783, Brazil IN 47834.

The entire family are in our prayers during this time, Dave was such a great friend who always took time to listen, time to share and time to enjoy the moment with all who knew him as a friend.
