Floyd Kenneth Bond
Floyd Kenneth Bond, age 88 of Reelsville, IN died at 11:42 a.m. Friday, July 16, 2010 at Cloverleaf Healthcare in Knightsville, IN.
He was born November 3, 1921 in Reelsville, IN as the son of Harry and Eva Parrish Bond. Following graduation from high school he joined the U.S. Coast Guard and served from 1942 until his honorable discharge December 18, 1945. He worked until retirement as a truck driver. He was married to Lucreshia Barnett who survives. He was a member of the VFW, Teamsters Union, and the Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed deer hunting and watching NASCAR races.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Norman Bond; and granddaughter, Becky Pierce.
He is survived by his wife, Lucreshia Bond; sons, Chuck Bond of Greencastle and Tom Bond (Tammy) of Carbon; daughters, Tracy Bailey and Tammy Batchelor both of Reelsville; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Norma Morlan of California; and other extended family.
Visitation will be 4 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 20th at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 21st at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery.

Dear Tish, Tommy, Chuck, Tracey and Tammy. So sorry for your loss. He was a great guy and I remember when he let me take his dog to Girl Scout camp on the last day of camp. It’s name was Jingles. Of course that was a long time ago. He will be missed. Mom is very saddened by his passing. Take care and we will keep you in our prayers. Denise and Steve
