Herschel Harmon Bullerdick, age 94 of Poland, IN passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at The Waters in Greencastle, IN.

He was born February 21, 1916 in Poland, IN as the son of Albert H. and Iva Edna Neese Bullerdick.  He married Lavera “Tootie” Stewart June 12, 1948 in Brazil, IN.  He was a farmer all of his life and he also worked for the Gulf Pipeline Company as a backhoe operator.  He enjoyed morning talks with friends at the store in Poland and liked keeping an eye on his crops.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lavera  who preceded him in death January 10, 2010; brothers Clyde and Rex Bullerdick; and sister, Edna Ahlemeyer.

He is survived by one son, Larry (Patrice) Bullerdick of Poland; one daughter, Billinda “Binny” (Jerry) Rice of Crawfordsville, IN; sister, Helen Kinder of Newberg, OR; grandchildren, Angela Alvey (Michael) of Louisville, KY and Patrick Rice (Cassie) of Jasper, IN; step grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and friends and staff at The Waters.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 noon Friday, July 16^th  at Moore Funeral Home. 
Funeral services will be Friday at 12 noon with burial to follow at Poland Chapel Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Poland Chapel Fund, c/o Joyce Emmert, 1100 W. National Ave. Brazil IN 47834 or the Tri County Community Club of Poland.
