Norma Bunton

Norma Jean Bunton, age 73 of Brazil, IN died at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.

She was born April 19, 1937 in Brazil, IN as the daughter of John and Lillian Harris Reese.  Following graduation from high school she attended the Indiana Business College and began a career with the Indiana Duplicators firm as office manager.  In recent years she had worked at the Clay County YMCA and most recently was the director of the Community Food Pantry.  She was a member of the First Christian Church of Brazil. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert Reese. 

She is survived by three sons, Jeff Lohrman (Carrie) of Lafayette, IN, Mike Clifton (Terry) of Kansas City, KS, and Ron Lohrman of Panama City Beach, FL; two daughters, Rhonda Swisher (John) of Indianapolis and Karen Trout of Brazil; nine grandchildren, Tami Bryan, Gwen James, Heather Martin, Tony Trout, Cooper Trout, Amanda Clifton, Payton Russell, Monica Adams, and Ben Trout; great grandchildren, Christian Bryan, Hannah Bryan, Dakota James, Ava James, Emma Martin, Jacob, Ashton, and McKenzie; one brother, Larry Reese; and other extended family.

Visitation will be 4- 8 p.m. Friday, July 16th at Moore Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday with burial to follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery in Brazil.

    I worked with her at Northview High School and we became good friends.
    We still kept in contact after I moved to Oklahoma. I will miss her. Norma was a wonderful lady.
