Alice Taylor

Alice M. Taylor, age 86 of Brazil, IN died Saturday, May 21, 2011 at St. Vincent Carmel Hospital in Carmel, IN.

She was born July 30, 1924 in Brazil, IN as the daughter of Henry and Dora Riddell McIndoo. She married Robert N. Taylor April 10, 1946. He preceded her in death April 20, 1988. She was a homemaker and had worked as a billing clerk at Farm Bureau and as a clerk at Lynn’s Pharmacy for 17 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; sister, Mary Tabor; and brothers, Ray, John, Tom, and Bill McIndoo.

She is survived by her daughter, Diana S. Chavis of Brazil; son, Don Taylor of Colorado; grandchildren, Troy Farris and wife Cathy, Mark and Matthew Taylor, Scott Farris and wife Heather, Michelle Hull, and Mandy Batchelor; great grandchildren, Ashley Farris, Cody Farris, Justine Farris, Dilan Farris, Kyley Clark,Taylor Hull, Cole Batchelor, and Ivy Rose Cox.

Moor Funeral Home was chosen to provide graveside funeral services 11 a.m. Friday, May 27th at Summit Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clay County Humane Society, 8280 North Co. Rd. 125 West, Brazil IN 47834.
