Archelene “Topper” Sue Norris, 76, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born in September 17, 1940 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Archie and Ann (Polluck) Alkire. Mrs. Norris graduated from Otter Creek High School and worked at Windbreaker, Columbia House, as a home health aide for many years. She enjoy sewing, crocheting, gardening, knitting, reading, and spending time with her family. Archelene was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Eugene Norris; brother, Max Alkire; sisters, Betty Switzer and Norma Joy.

Daughters: Theresa Norris, Brazil, Indiana

Katherine (Jeff) Keep, Terre Haute, Indiana

Close Friend: Carolyn Layman, Terre Haute, Indiana

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday January 24, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil. The family will accept friends for visitation on Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service.
