Harold Reynolds

Harold Ernest Reynolds, age 81 of Brazil, IN died at 10:41 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Cloverleaf Healthcare in Knightsville, IN.

He was born November 10, 1929 in Vigo County, IN as the son of Harold Reynolds Sr. and Doris Walton Reynolds. He was married to Joan Stone who has preceded him in death. He worked for the Indiana Department of Corrections until his retirement where he served as Chief of the Indiana State Farm Fire Department. He also served 20 years with the Posey Twp. Fire Dept. and 5 years with the Jackson Twp. Volunteer Fire Dept. He enjoyed music and had played in the Jackson Twp. Band since high school.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joan; and sister, Jean Sneddon.

He is survived by son, Steve Reynolds (Lisa) of Brazil, IN; step sons, Tom Kintner (Connie) of Kentucky and David Reynolds of Spencer; daughters, Bobby Kirkham (Gail) of Terre Haute and Connie Henning of Florida; step daughter, Sheila Fagg (Lester) of Brazil; sisters Doris Bran of Brazil and Jane Hoffman of Frankfort, IN; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 4 – 8 p.m. Saturday, March 26th at Moore Funeral Home with funeral services to be conducted at 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Jim Tucker officiating. Following services, his body will be cremated. Memorial contributions may be made to your local fire department.
