Jason Scott Murphy Johnson

Jason Scott Murphy Johnson, 38, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 at his home with his family at his side. He was born in Brazil, Indiana on March 7, 1979 to Mike Mroczek and Jerri Lynn Johnson. Jason graduated from Brazil High School and worked as a correctional officer at the Putnam County Correctional Facility. He married Misty Archer on September 18, 2007, and loved being outdoors. In his free time Jason enjoyed woodworking, tinkering with cars, fishing and spending with with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jerri Lynn Johnson, and his brother Sean Mroczek.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with burial to follow at Clearview Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
