Mary Ellen Thompson, 82, passed away Friday August 4, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Brazil, Indiana on October 31, 1934 to the late Elmer and Mildred Brown. She graduated from Brazil High School and married Robert Thompson on April 12, 1957. Mary Ellen worked at Fleetwood Mobile Homes, Wind Breaker, and the Clay County Health Center. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, bowling, working puzzles, and playing Bingo. She was preceded in death by her Husband; brother-in-law, Harry Rockhill and sister-in-law, Carolyn Faye Keyt.

        Joey J. (Theresa) Thompson, Brazil, Indiana

        Victor James Thompson, Brazil, Indiana

    Sister: Betty Rockhill, Speedway, Indiana

    Grandchildren: Heather, Bobbi, Shelby, Whitney (Kevin), and Michaela

    Great-Grandchildren:    Audrey, Brayden, Layla, Szaylay

    Several Nieces and Nephews

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Jeff Bridgewater officiating and burial to follow at Calcutta Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Thursday from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carbon Methodist Church.
