Mazie Bowles

Mazie (Rissler) Bowles, 88, passed away Wednesday May 17, 2017 at her home in Brazil with her family at her side. She was born the daughter of Roy Vernis Rissler, and Lelia Ada (Hofmann) Rissler on September 13, 1928 in Brazil. Mazie graduated from Brazil High School in 1946, and married Jon Bowles in 1947. She was a member of the Otter Creek Christian Church. Mazie enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, gardening, birdwatching, and she spent many hours helping on the farm. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lester Rissler, and two sisters, Louise Brinson and Chrystal Foley.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday May 26, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home from 4:00-6:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held at a later date.
