Norma Jean Freeman, 88, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Cloverleaf Healthcare in Knightsville. She was born in Clay City, Indiana on August 6, 1928 to the late Joseph C. Moore and Hazel A. (Frump) Moore. She attended Clay City High School, and married Daryl Freeman on. August 26, 1948. Norma was a member of the First Baptist Church in Brazil. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed working word searches, camping, doing crafts, volunteering at church, and watching butterflies. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Daryl; brothers, Hubert, Lucian, and Donald Moore; Sisters, Floy Moore, Janice Fatch, Alberta Pitts, and Marlene Moore; granddaughter, Jennifer Jo Sutton.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 10, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Brazil with Pastors Mark Thompson and Bob Sampson officiating. Moore Funeral Home in Brazil was entrusted with her cremation arrangements.
