Rita Louise Phillips, 78, passed away Tuesday February 28, 2017 at her home with family at her side. She was born in Greencastle, Indiana on April 29, 1938 to the late Claude and Bonnie (Paris) Johnson. Rita graduated from Greencastle High School, and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed singing, playing cards, shuffle board and bingo. Rita was preceded in death by her sister, Laura Anne Sims.

Moore Funeral Home in Brazil, Indiana was entrusted with her cremation arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
