Tammy Jo Rothrock, 47, passed away unexpectedly ,Friday January 6, 2017 at her home in Cory after a long battle with illness. She was born on October 2, 1969 in Baltimore, Maryland to Robert Tuxford and Patricia Hite. Tammy worked at the Putnamville Correctional Facility, the Aberdeen Proving Grounds with the Army Corp of Engineers in Maryland, and also worked at the Petro truck stop. She was an adventurous soul, and an animal lover. Tammy operated TJ Animal Rescue. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Hite; Uncle, Jim Hite; grandparents, Mary Jo and Harold Hite.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday January 11, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Mark Thompson officiating and burial to follow at Union Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
