Christena (Workman) Lawson

Christena Lawson, 56, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 26, 2024 in Hudson, Florida. She was born in Brazil, Indiana on August 21, 1967 to the late David Workman and Joann (Perkins) Price-Brattain. Chrissy graduated from Brazil High School 1985.

She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, enjoyed visiting with friends at the local clubs, and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; and step-fathers, Fred Price and John Brattain.

Survivors include her daughter, Nici (Christopher) Hernandez; brothers, Bucky (Lisa) Price, Donnie (Cheryl) Price, David (Mary) Workman; sisters, Cyndi Workman, Tracy Skinner, Lenora Shumaker, and Gina (Mark) Secor; step-mother, Bobbie Workman; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members, while she loved all the world and then some.

A celebration of Chrissy’s life will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil, the family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday from 2:0 P.M. until the time of service. Moore Funeral Home in Brazil, Indiana was entrusted with her cremation arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Wichita YMCA or a local foster family.
