Life Legacy
Joseph R. Lovett Jr., 63, Brazil, went to be with the Lord June 20, 2012.
Joe was born July 24, 1948, the son of Joseph R. and Rose A. (James) Lovett.
Mr. Lovett owned and operated his own construction company and was a member of the Calvary Tabernacle Apostolic Church in Terre Haute.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Suzanne Wier.
Mr. Lovett is survived by his wife Sue (Schlatter) Lovett, Brazil, children Troy (Gina) Sharps, Rosedale, Larry Sharps, Brazil, Keri (Tom) Reckerd, West Lafayette, Joey (Diana) Lovett, Terre Haute, Randy Lovett, Brazil and Darren (Denita) Maybaugh, Brazil. Also surviving are brothers Steve (Tina) Lovett, Brazil, Bryan (Debbie) Lovett, Dennis (Darla) Lovett, both of Terre Haute, and sister Debbie (Tim) Dove, Brazil, as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be take place Saturday, June 23, 2012, at the Moore Funeral Home, 142 N. Washington St., at 11 a.m., with Pastor John Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
