Life Legacy

Judith Rose Barnett, age 63 of Brazil, IN died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born January 17, 1949 in Vigo County, IN as the daughter of William Henry and Ehelberta Ross Phillips. She graduated from West Vigo High School. She married Russell Barnett in 1973. She had been employed as a hair dresser, as a secretary for the Clay County Winterization office and at Bemis Bag Company in Terre Haute.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Russell Barnett; son, Russell Glenn Barnett (Kylie); daughter, Rebecca J. Treash; grandchildren, Tyler W. Treash, Cameron Barnett, and Christofer Barnett; sisters, Patrica Hayes and Marge Phillips; brother, Henry Phillips; niece, Jennifer Smith of Morocco; special friend, Susan Beaman; and other extended family.

Moore Funeral Home was chosen to provide cremation services. A graveside service will be scheduled at a later date.
