Barbara Ruth Royer

Cory, Indiana

Barbara Ruth Royer, 83, passed away Saturday March 10, 2018 at Springhill Village in Terre Haute. She was born in Clay County on April 8, 1934 to the late Harlan and Sabina (Kester) French. Barb graduated from Cory High School in 1952, and went on to marry Leroy Royer on August 17 that same year. She worked as a beautician in her home as well as Davis Gardens. 

Barb enjoyed gardening, caning, watching birds and doing carpentry work with her husband. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Royer; two brothers, James and Rev. Ray French; and her granddaughter, Misti Bockhold.

Several Nieces, Nephews and other extended family 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Judy Lints officiating and burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Riley. The family will accept friends for visitation on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
