Corey Lawrence Shields

Corey Lawrence Shields, 63, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020 at his home in Brazil. He was born on April 10, 1956 in Northridge California to the late Ralph and Betty (Olsen) Shields. Corey graduated from Canyon High School in 1975, and married Cathy Hardesty on November 13, 1976. He worked as a mechanic for most of his career and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. 

Corey enjoyed working on the computer, watching classic movies and listening to podcasts. He was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Shields, and his nephew, Jeffrey Brian Shields.

        Coby (Lindsey) Shields, Lee’s Summit, Missouri

    Brothers:    Lee (Teresa) Shields, Tooele, Utah

            Michael (Melissa) Shields, Salt Lake City, Utah

    Sister:        Lori (Billy) Thomson,  Jacksonville,Oregon

    Grandchildren:    Tristen, Trevor, Graham, Zander Shields

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil, Indiana with burial to follow at Calcutta Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Wednesday, from 4:00-7:00 P.M. and again Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
