Dixie Lou Bevis, 76, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Terre Haute Regional as the result of a motor vehicle accident. She was born in Brazil, Indiana on February 3, 1941 to the late Austin Vannice and Edith Hagan. Dixie graduated from Brazil High School and later earned her LPN from Ivy Tech. She attended Annunciation Catholic Church.

Dixie enjoyed shopping, collecting different items, attending movies, drinking coffee with friends and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bevis, sister, Janet Payne and granddaughter, Sarah Mitchell Owens.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil. The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday from 5:00 P.M. until the time of service.
