Earl Keith Lowder

Earl K. Lowder passed away in Terre Haute, Indiana on November 6, 2017 at 70 years old. He was born on April 28, 1947 in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Clifford and Ilene (Wood) Lowder.  Earl attended high school in Ohio and graduated in 1965.  He would go on to retire as a superintendent from Likes Brothers.  Earl was married to Terri (Nelson) Lowder, together they attended Staunton First Christian Church.

He enjoyed restoring old cars, trucks, and tractors and attended many car and tractor shows. Earl was a handyman can could be counted on to fix whatever was broken.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Earl is survived by his wife Terri Lowder of Terre Haute, Indiana. Three sons, James Joseph Welch, Brian Lowder, and Jason Lowder.  Five daughters Christy Lowder, Cindy Lowder, Jamie Lowder, Becky Lowder, and Veronica Welch. A brother-in-law Rocky (Dee) Nelson.14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  He is also survived by several extended family members.  

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 10, 2017 at Staunton First Christian Church with Pastor Mark Miller and burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery in Terre Haute.  The family will accept friends for visitation on Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil.
