Frances “Frankie” G. Anderson, 87, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017. She was born in Anderson, Indiana to the late Basil and Genieve (McNeel) Pearcy. Frankie grew up in Hanover, Indiana, later moved to Clay County and graduated from Brazil High School. She married Richard Anderson on August 13, 1949, he preceded her in death.

Frances was an accomplished artist, who loved painting. She enjoyed horses, being outdoors, loved trail riding with her friends, and sharing her hobbies with her grandchildren. Frankie was preceded in death by her sons, Lance E. Anderson, Richard Scott Anderson; daughter, Sally Hamilton; grandson, Jory Anderson, brother-in-law, Mark Anderson. 

Survivors Include:

    Daughter:    Barb (Tim) Edler, Seelyville, Indiana

    Son-in-law:    Mike Hamilton, Terre Haute, Indiana

A celebration of Frances’s life will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday, July 28, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Mark Thompson officiating. The family will accept friends for visitation on Friday from 5:00 P.M. until the time of service. 

Prints of Frances’s paintings will be available for purchase during services with all proceeds going to the Peace Field Equine Rescue in Vigo County. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Peace Field Equine Rescue or Kindred Hospice.
