Joanna Fritz

Joanna Fritz, 89, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born in Clay County, Indiana on December 6, 1928 to the late Vern and Thelma Hendrix. Joanna graduated from Brazil High School, and later married Ivan Fritz on March 18, 1947. She enjoyed history, sewing, and loved to read. Joanna was a wonderful grandmother, and enjoyed seeing time with her family. She was preceded in death by her sister, Vivian (Charles) Winters; brother, Marshall (Betty) Hendrix; granddaughter, Lindsey Bowman Boring and a nephew, John Hendrix.

            Nancy Turner, Brazil, Indiana

    Nephews:    Jay, Jim, and Jack Hendrix

    Grandchildren: J.C. (Ashley) Bowman

    Great-Grandchildren:    Addison, Ellie, and River Bowman

A celebration of Joanna’s life will be held at 6:30 P.M. Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Rick Koch officiating. The family will accept friends for visitation on Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Children's Hospital.
