Joey Allen, 32 passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis as the result of a car accident. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on February 27,1985 to Chester and Patricia (Bennett) Allen. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on vehicles, but loved spending time with his family and listening to music. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Chester Allen, Sr. and Vera Allen, Maternal grandparents, Orville and Ruth Bennett; father, Chester Allen, Jr. as well as his sister, Natasha Allen. 

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Bennett; fiancé, Mackenzie Watson and their son Jette. Sons, Joey Allen, Jr. and Daviyl Allen and their mother Karen Lacher-Allen; brothers, Christopher Allen, Steven Allen, and special brother Tommy Goatee Wakes; sisters, Tammy Gleason, Joyce Allen, Annette (John) Thomas, and his special nephew, Tevin Allen, as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 22, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with burial to follow at Highland Lawn Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
