Brazil, Indiana

Joseph Alton Gregg, 80, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. He was born in Brazil on October 10, 1938 to the late Joseph L. And Dorothy (Hill) Gregg. Joe graduated from Brazil High School, and attended Indiana State University. After school he served his country for 6 years in the National Guard. He married Linda Nicosin on June 26, 1959 and retired from General Motors. 

Joe was a a very active member of Calvary Baptist Church. He loved attending church functions, working with the children and being involved in any way he could. In his free time he enjoyed working in his yard, fishing, going to the lake, watching football and golf, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. 

Joe was preceded in death by his infant brother, Ronald Gregg.

Sons:  Jeff (Kathy) Gregg, Terre Haute, Indiana

    Cameron (Pam) Gregg, Terre Haute, Indiana

Brother: Donald (Sharon) Gregg, Poinciana, Florida

Sister-in-laws: Dee Hoke, Brazil, Indiana

        Wilma Nicosin, Brazil, Indiana

Granddaughters:    Julie Gregg

            Susan Gregg

Several Nieces, Nephews, and other extended family

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday December 14, 2018 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Jason Selby officiating and burial to follow at Clearview Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
