LeDema Oliver

LaDema L. Oliver, age 94 of Brazil, IN died Friday, March 25, 2011 at Cloverleaf Healthcare in Knightsville, IN.

She was born September 5, 1916 in Aliceville, IN in Knox County as the daughter of David and Oaka Sexton Law. Following high school she married Charles Frederick Oliver September 15, 1940. He preceded her in death April 4, 1996. She was employed at several businesses including, the Illinois Dept. of Welfare, Con Can of Terre Haute, Capehart Mfgr., Bendix Aviation of South Bend, Reich Bros. of Terre Haute, Girton Implement of Brazil, Law Bee Line, Hughes Chrysler Dodge, and Hughes Honda. She was a member of the Ebenezer Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles F. Oliver; son-in-law, Steve Newman; sister, Larue Morris; and brother, David E. Law.

She is survived by daughters, Karen Newman of Louisville, KY and Gail Oliver of Brazil, IN; grandsons, Christopher Newman (Andrea) and Jason Newman (Marcela); 3 great grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Koen, and Zachary Newman and other extended family.

Visitation will be 4 – 7 p.m. Sunday, March 27th at Moore Funeral Home with funeral services to be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday the 28th at the funeral home with Pastor Bill Price officiating.
