Marlene Parksey

Marlene Parksey ,76, passed away August 22,2017 in Port Orange, Florida.  She was born on March 20, 1941 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Paul McDaniel and Eleanor <Spittler> and was raised by the late Clayton and Edith Spittler.  Marlene graduated from Otter Creek High School and married Donald Parksey on July 26, 1958.  After High School she attended Ivy Tech University and worked for fifteen years as a nurse.  Marlene enjoyed reading, watching the news, and spending time with her friends and family.  She was preceded in death by her graddaughter, Jessica Parksey, sister, Sharon Lenne, and brother, Ronald McDaniel.

Husband of 59 years: Donald Parksey, Port Orange, Florida

Son: Clayton (Theresa) Parksey, Brazil, Indiana

Daughter: Rebecca (Billy) Willoughby, Daytona Beach, Florida

Brothers: Rick McDaniel, Brazil, Indiana
                Gary Mount, Terre Haute, Indiana

Sister: Sandra (Calvin) Moeller, Pekin, Illinois 

Grandchildren: Zachary Parksey
                         Jeremy Lofton
 
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday August 26, 2917 at Bee Ridge Cemetery in Brazil.
