Meredith Kelley

Meredith William “Pete” Kelley, age 66 of West Terre Haute died Sunday, February 27, 2011 at his residence.

He was born June 30, 1944 in Clinton, IN as the son of Raymond and Evelyn Craft Kelley.

Following graduation from high school he worked as an electrician. He was most recently employed at St. Mary of the Woods College. Pete was a life-long fan of the New York Yankees.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Brian Kelley; one brother, Melvin Kelley; and a sister, Loveda.

He is survived by sons, Robert Kelley (Lisa) of Marion, North Carolina and Eric Kelley of Marshall, IL; sister, Judith Cottrell (Ernie) of Dana, IN; sister-in-law, Erma Kelley of Carmel In; three grandchildren, Ryan, Meghan, and Kaitlyn Kelley of Marion, North Carolina. Also surviving is one nephew, Brent (Lesli) Cottrell of Clinton, In; two nieces, Kathryn Cascella of Forest Park, Ohio, and Debbie (Hank) Hafley of Fishers In; several aunts and uncles and two very dear friends, Dee and Frank.

Moore Funeral Home of Brazil was chosen to provide cremation services. As were Pete's request, there will be no visitation or services.
