William Dennis Diel, 94, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018 at Exceptional Living Center in Brazil. He was born on September 26, 1923 in Staunton, Indiana to the late Dennis and Sarah (Biggs) Diel. Bill graduated from Staunton High School in 1941, and served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He worked at Kraft, as a welder and was a member of the Jordan Presbyterian Church. In his free time he enjoyed traveling, attended auctions and yard sales, as well as spending time with his friends and family. Bill was preceded in death by his brothers, Walter Diel, Albert Diel, and John Rittinghouse as well as his sister, Imogene Turner.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Paul Zurcher officiating, burial with military honors will follow at Bee Ridge Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
