Anthony J. Slater, 68, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at St. Vincent Clay Hospital in Brazil. He was born in Brazil, Indiana on March 13, 1953 to the late Paul A. Slater, Jr. And Loretta M. (Johnson) Slater. Tony graduated from Brazil High School in 1971, and worked as a telephone installation tech for GTE and Atlantic Bell, and later worked for Ascena in Greencastle. He Loved music, watching NASCAR and football, as well as spending time with his friends. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Jordon Slater. 

Tony is survived by his son, Anthony J. Slater, Jr.; brother, Tim (Lisa) Slater; sister, Cindy (Dan) Pflueger; and his granddaughter, Jay’Lyn Slater; special friend, Helen Rea; as well as several nieces, and nephews. 

Moore Funeral Home was entrusted with Tony’s cremation arrangements.
