Barbara (OTIS) Feeney

Barbara Feeney, 89, passed away Monday, July 27, 2026 at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Hardin County, Illinois on March 27, 1937 to the late John and Chloe (Hicks) Otis. Barbara worked as a chef for the Holiday Inn and later as the dietician for Asbury Towers.

She enjoyed all types of crafts including painting, and crocheting. Barbara liked to refinish furniture she had thrifted, and loved spending time with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandchildren, Cary Smith and Jerraco Morlock.

Survivors include her son, Paul (Linda) Mondary; daughters, Vicky (Renos) Price, Kim (Robert) Erwin, Jeanetta (James) Morlock; grandchildren, Heather (Bobby) Gayhart, Jeremy Smith, Robert (Amanda) Erwin, Narissa (Jon) Batman, SkyAnne Morlock; Nine Great-Grandchildren and Three Great-Great Grandchildren.

Barbara will be laid to rest at the Poland Chapel Cemetery. Moore Funeral Home in Brazil was entrusted with her cremation arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clay County Humane Society.
