Beverly Ann (Galloway) White

Beverly Ann White, 91, went to be with her Lord on Monday, February 8, 2021 after a short stay  at Cloverleaf Healthcare in Knightsville. She was born in Brazil, Indiana on January 10, 1930 to the late William and Florence (Taylor) Galloway. She graduated from Brazil High School in 1948, and married Lester White on April 9, 1949. Beverly worked for JC Penny, and spent 21 years employed at the Clay County Treasures Office. After retirement she worked as a substitute at Open Hands Pre-School. 

Beverly was an active member of the Bee Ridge Christian Church. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and the Dick Johnson Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Beverly loved spending time with the grandkids and great-grandkids, she was devoted to making it to all of their functions.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Lester; sister, Betty Pell; and son-in-law, Lewis Mayfield.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Sheri) White of Covington, Louisiana; daughters, Rebecca Mayfield of Brazil, and Christine (Joe) Pestoff of Brazil; grandchildren, Andrew White, Alison White, Audrey White, Anson White, Stephanie Wieben, Rachel (Donald) Weiner, Kyle Pestoff, and Bryant (Amanda) Pestoff; great-grandchildren, Damon, Coleman, Peyton, Paisley, Braxton, Brickam, Bryleigh, Jackson, and Landon; as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Funeral services will be held and live-streamed at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Bee Ridge Christian Church in Brazil with Pastor Jeff Bridgewater officiating and burial at Bee Ridge Cemetery to follow. The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Bee Ridge Church or Open Hands Pre-School, envelopes will be available at the church.
