Billie Paul Wilkison

Billie Paul Wilkison, 75, passed away Monday August 19, 2019 at his home in Terre Haute. He was born on December 4, 1943 in Brazil, and graduated from Brazil High School in 1964. Bill served his country in the United States Naval Reserve, on the U.S.S. Boxer. He retired after 43 years as a maintenance mechanic at Bemis. 

Bill loved working with his hands, and was known for his cooking and baking. He enjoyed drag racing, watching Cubs baseball and spending time with his dogs. 

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Robert A. Wilkison and Helen L. (Cox) Withers, and his brother Robert Brown.

    Daughter: Deanna Waggoner, Terre Haute, Indiana

    Brother:    Jim (Sharon) Wilkison, Brazil, Indiana

    Sisters:    Sherry Curry, Brazil, Indiana

            Barbara Pavich, Kailua, Hawaii

            Jan Finney, Chandler, Arizona

    Grandchildren:    Trisha Waggoner, Amber Waggoner, and John (Emily) Waggoner, II

    Great-Grandchildren:    Aubriella Waggoner, Grace Waggoner

    Several Nieces, Nephews and other extended family

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil. The family will accept friends to share memories on Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clay County Humane Society, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
