Bobby Gene Smith, 61, passed away November 10, 2019 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.  He was born in Brazil, Indiana on August 5, 1958 to the late Eugene and Edna (Woods) Smith.  Bobby graduated from Brazil High School in 1977.  He worked at Nassers Furniture for many years and spent 33 years with the love of his life Sherry Stultz.

Bobby loved spending time outdoors.  He won many awards coon hunting with his favorite hound Moe.  He also earned many trophies racing go carts.  Bobby loved sports and was a long time fan of the Bears.  He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Lou Hellis.

Funeral services for Bobby will be held at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil on Thursday 14, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. with pastor Ernie Rush with burial to follow at Calcutta Cemetery.   The family will accept friends for visitation on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.    The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Clay County Humane Society.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
