Brazil, Indiana

Carl MacDonald, 88, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2019 at his home in Brazil. He was born on September 9, 1930 to the late Monroe and Eunice (Hatfield) MacDonald. Carl graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School, and retired after many years as a steel fabricator for Ferguson Steel. He married Martha Francis Hart on April 24, 1970. Carl enjoyed woodworking, metal work, welding, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha; brother, John; and sisters, Katheryn Lampe and Betty Fary.

Survivors Include:

    Son:    Ben (Norma) Dake, Brazil, Indiana

    Daughter:    Diane (Dave) Winship, Gosport, Indiana

    Sisters:    Sue Maloney, Battle Creek, Michigan

            Ella McDougal, Houston, Texas

    Grandchildren:    Diana (Mike) Heady, James (Penny) Ridenour, Heather (Aaron)                         Ridenour, Jennifer Pieper, Robert Ross, Christopher Ross,

                Leeann (Nick) Brunson, and Justin (Bethany) Dake.

Moore Funeral Home in Brazil was entrusted with Carl’s cremation arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
