Chad Allen McPheeters, 42, passed away unexpectedly after a tragic accident in Thailand. He was born in Indianapolis on August 8, 1978 to Martin and Susie McPheeters. Chad was a 1997 graduate at North Vigo High School. He spent most of his life working in sales and even owned his own business, Golf Coast Business Credit.
Chad enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life. Some of those hobbies included outdoor activities like hunting and fishing. He was also a bowyer and an amateur gunsmith. Chad was a great musician and favored playing the drums and guitar. He loved playing video games, playing with remote control airplanes, and painting. Chad even wrote and published a book, “Business Credit Bible”. Most importantly, Chad loved being a father to his two daughters.
Chad is preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Archer and SMSGT Malcolm McPheeters; grandmother, Elisabeth McPheeters; uncles, Joseph Sims, Doug McPheeters, and Emery Lutz.
Survivors include his parents; Martin McPheeters of Greenwood and Susie McPheeters of Brazil; daughters, Eva Wangpreecha and Mia McPheeters both of Phuket, Thailand; girlfriend, Koi Wangpreecha of Phuket, Thailand; his beloved chihuahua, Lexi; as well as several extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 27 at 1:00 P.M. at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Dow Boyer officiating. The family will accept friends for visitation from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery.
