Charles "Chuck" McCleery, Jr.

Charles “Chuck” Leroy McCleery, Jr., 70, passed away on August 13, 2025 at Gibson Family Hospice Center in Terre Haute. He was born on October 16, 1954 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Charles McCleery, Sr. and Mary Wiser. Chuck attended Warren Central High School, and worked as painter and drywall installer for many years.

Chuck enjoyed fishing, bowling, going to the casino, and mowing his grass. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rene McCleery, and his sister Mary Ann McCleery.

Survivors include his sons, Darryl (Emily) McCleery, Zachary McCleery, Chuck McCleery, and Billy McCleery; brothers, Randy McCleery and Kenneth McCleery; several grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Moore Funeral Home in Brazil was entrusted with Chuck’s cremation arrangements.
