Rockville, Indiana

Cynthia Jenkins, passed away, Friday, September 20, 2024 at the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 28, 1949 to the late Charles and Grace (Brewer) Reeves. Cynthia graduated from Reelsville High School and married Kenny Jenkins on November 10, 1972. She worked for Columbia Records for several years, and also at the Turkey Run Inn.

Cynthia loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. When she was able she enjoyed going out to eat, sewing and crafting. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Reeves.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Kenny Jenkins; daughters, Amber Jenkins, Crista (Paul) Wehr, and Kelly (Henry) Boesiger; brothers, Charles Reeves, Jr., Michael Reeves, and Tim (Marilyn) Reeves; sister, Nella Creason; cousin, JoAnn Ousley; grandchildren, Luke Wehr, Ava Wehr, Joy Wehr, and Abbigail Boesiger; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family.

A celebration of Cynthia’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil. The family will accept friends for visitation on Saturday from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service. Moore Funeral Home was entrusted with her cremation arrangements.
