Cloverdale, Indiana

Daniel J. Vanatti, 64, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at his home in Cloverdale. He was born in Brazil on December 1, 1954 to the late Richard and Mildred (Jones) Vanatti. Danny graduated from Van Buren High School in 1973 and married Penny Raab in 1979. He served his country in the United States Army, and he was a member of the Moose Lodge and American Legion. 

Dan loved to be outdoors, mostly hunting mushrooms and fishing. He also enjoyed playing pool, building models, joking, and spending time with his family and friends. Danny was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Vanatti, and sisters, Carol Vanatti and Kathy (Lou) Giacone.

    Wife:    Penny Vanatti, Cloverdale, Indiana

    Sons:    Jason (Lisa Nauman) Vanatti, Greencastle, Indiana

    Daughters:    Catherine (Kyle) Knauer, Brazil, Indiana

    Brothers:    Dick Vanatti, Terre Haute, Indiana

            David (Phyllis) Vanatti, Cromwell, Indiana

            Donnie Vanatti, Brazil, Indiana

    Sisters:    Joanna (Jim) Cather, Gary, Indiana    

            Karen (Ronnie) Jones, Perryville, Kentucky

    Granddaughter:    Amelia Mathis

A celebration of Dan’s Life will be held from 1:00-6:00 P.M. Wednesday March 20, 2019 at the Brazil Moose Lodge. Moore Funeral Home in Brazil was entrusted with cremation arrangements.
