David Krout, 64, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025 at the Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute. He was born in Indianapolis on December 25, 1960 to the late Theron and Doris (Webster) Krout. Dave served his country in the United States Army, Air Force as a jet engine mechanic, and the Air National Guard, and worked for Meneely Construction. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and the Eagles Lodge.

He enjoyed watching old movies, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. David was preceded in death by his son, Aaron Krout, siblings, Terry Krout and Phyllis Newman.

Survivors include his companion of 20 years, Emily Cooper; son, Andrew Krout; daughter, Holly Krout; brother, Chris Krout; sister, Marilyn Underwood; grandchildren, Makenna Wallen, Karson Krout, Eli Roberts, Kenny Roberts, and Ryker Roberts; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Moore Funeral Home in Brazil was entrusted with David’s cremation arrangements.
