David Lee Lorenze, 82, passed away unexpectedly on December 25, 2020 at his home. He was  born on April 23, 1938 in Brazil, Indiana to the late Daniel W. And Velma D. (King) Lorenze. David graduated from Brazil High School in 1957, and married Shirley Jamieson on June 29, 1958, they attended North Side Church of Christ. He worked as a printer for Columbia Records for 43 years before retirement. 

Dave enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, playing cards, and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Don Lorenze; and his daughter-in-law, Barbara Lorenze.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Shirley Lorenze of Brazil; sons, David Lorenze of Indianapolis, and Richard (Traci) Lorenze of Center Point; sister, Norma Bridgewater of Brazil; grandchildren, Danielle Lorenze, Josh Lorenze, David Lorenze III and Cody Moon; as well as two great-grandchildren, Austin and Miriam Moon. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 30, 2020 with Pastor Mike Ferris officiating and burial to follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
