Deloris A. Smith, 85, a devoted wife, mothers, and aunt to many passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Gibson Family Hospice Center in Terre Haute. She was born in Brazil, Indiana on September 9, 1937 to the late David and Elizabeth Smith. Early on Delores worked at the Blue Bonnet before moving to Arkansas and working in a shoe factory. She was a member of the Carbon Baptist Church. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with friends and family, playing cards and gardening. Deloris was preceded in death by her husband Frank Smith; sisters, Kay Bussing, Pat Hoskins and Ginger Lamb; brother, Richard Smith; granddaughter, Shauna Lydy.

Survivors include her son, Brad (Tish) Collier of Indianapolis; sister, Carolyn Boyd of Brazil; grandson, Zach (Chrissy) Collier and great-granddaughter, Faith Aniston Collier; as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

A graveside service will be held at Summit Lawn Cemetery at 11:00 A.M Friday, June 9, 2023. Moore Funeral Home in Brazil has been entrusted with Deloris’s cremation arrangements.
