Dixie Lee Raab, 69, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 surrounded by family. She was born in Brazil on April 10, 1952 to the late Owen and Mary (Wright) Muncie. Dixie attended Brazil High School, and later married Thomas Raab, Sr. She worked at several factories throughout the area, as well as being a CNA and cook.
Dixie enjoyed being outdoors, wether it was fishing, camping, or cookouts with family and friends. She occupied her down time with crocheting, crafts, reading, and she loved her coffee. Dixie was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Raab, Sr; sisters, Beatrice Head, Marilyn Graverson, and Eunice Morgan; as well as her brother, Ronnie Muncie.
Survivors include, her son, Tommy (Heather) Raab, Jr.; daughters, Penny (Aimee) Barrett, Elizabeth (John) Dickison, Virginia (Jordan) Lovett, Mary Kate (Danny) Warren; brother, Owen Muncie; sisters, Deloris Ray and Debbie (Dan) Muncie; fourteen grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil. The family will accept friends for visitation on Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service.
