Dolores Hoke, 90, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025 while staying at Cloverleaf Healthcare in Knightsville. She was born in Brazil, Indiana on June 13, 1935 to the late Homer and Mary (Grey) Nicoson. Dolores graduated from Brazil High School in 1953, and married Carl Hoke on March 16, 1956. She worked as a Loan Officer at First Bank and Trust for 36 years. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Dee enjoyed volunteering and attending church activities, traveling, and attending her families activities. She was preceded death by her husband, Carl Hoke; brother, Jack Nicoson, and her sister, Linda Gregg.
Survivors include her daughters, Karen (Mark) Barnes, and Carla (Ron) Stinson; grandchildren, Ashley (Mike) Glahn, Whitney (Andrew) Justice, Danika (Brad) Craycraft, Bryan (Mackenzie) Jones; step-grandchildren, Dr. Wes (Dr. Danielle) Barnes, and Neal (Noelle) Barnes; Fifteen Great-Grandchildren; One Great-Great Granddaughter; as well as several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Calcutta Cemetery with Pastor Keith McIntyre officiating.
