Donna Treadway, 77, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on November 4, 1943 in Lewis, Indiana to the late Claude and Mary (Bose) Mahurin. Donna attended Blackhawk High School and graduated in the class of 1961. Before graduation, Donna married her lifelong love, Thomas Treadway, on May 12, 1961. 

Donna worked as a manager for Kroger Bakery for 27 years. Outside of work, she enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. Donna was an active member in Christmas In The Park for several years. She loved square dancing, vacationing with family, and spending time with her grandchildren. 

Donna is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Eddie Mahurin, J.R. Mahurin; sisters, Charlotte Vangilder, Terri Roberts; brother-n-law, Raymond Roberts; and grandson, Eric Jordan. 

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Thomas Treadway; son, Eddie (Teresa) Treadway; daughter, Sherry (Marty) Chapman; bonus son, Cory (Mandy) Roberts; bonus daughter, Chelsea (Patrick) Dighton; sister-n-law, Joy Mahurin; aunts, Alice Blackburn, Jean Bose; uncles, Pat Hill, Kenny Bose; grandchildren, Jerry (Lacey) Jordan, Brigitte (Frank) Smith, Lacey (Tony) Barnett, Thomas Chapman; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandhildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, September 13, 2021 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil, with Pastor Rob Dispennett officiating and burial to follow at Restlawn Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and Monday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
