Doris “Tinker” Robertson, 68, passed away Friday, November 15,2024 at the Gibson Family Hospice Center in Terre Haute. She was born in Savannah, Georgia on August 1, 1956 to the late William and Willie (Crosby) Smith. Tinker graduated from Savannah High School, and married Kevin Robertson on May 23, 1991. She worked at Video Specialist, CVS, and retired from the Clay County Sheriff’s Department, Tinker was also volunteer CASA advocate.
Tinker loved spending time with her family, especially her “Angel Babies”. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting, thrifting, crafts, cooking and gardening. Tinker was preceded in death by her siblings, Joe, Mike, Billy, Gloria, Lester, Jimmy, Pearl, and Betty; and brother-in-laws, Mike Jensen, and Robert Stem.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin Robertson; son, Randall Meeks; daughters, Sherri (Jeff) Kerzan, Melissa (Dwayne) Clark, Jaclyn Robertson, and Jessica (Joshua) Longo; sisters, Charlotte Jensen, Linda Mills, and Peggy Stem; grandchildren, Michael, Adam, Amy, Skyler, Zechariah, Alexis, Brevin, Chandler, Caden, Cora, and Chloe; great-granddaughter, Talia; special niece, Amy (Shaun) Adamson; as well as many other extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 20, 2024 in the Bill Webster Memorial Chapel at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil. The family will accept friends for visitation on Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Clay County Humane Society.
