In Loving Memory of Earl H. Adamson III Born October 12, 1966, to Earl Adamson II (Joe). and Bonnie (Head) Craig, who waited for him long before the tide turned and welcomed him home beyond this shore. Earl lived a life shaped by water and patience, by quiet mornings and steady lines cast wide. He loved the rhythm of fishing — the waiting, the hoping, and the peace in between. He enjoyed hobbies of playing BINGO, eating at the local Chinese Restaurant, helping his family, running to Speedway every morning for his coffee and meeting with his cherished friends at the Brazil City Garage. He never met a stranger and offered all he had to those in need. He was a joker, a prankster, and always had something to say. The love he had for his family was without question. He was a hard worker, working for the City of Brazil Street Department for many years before becoming disabled due health concerns.
He was a father first, loving and boasting of his children — his daughter, Brandy Bault (Jeremy), his sons Allan Pleake Jr. (Penny), Ronald Pleake (Roxie), and Jimmy Pleake (Kim) — each a living reflection of his strength and heart. His legacy ripples outward through his grandchildren: Serenity, Benjamin, Brandon, Hillary, Michael, Kaitlin, Derek, RJ, Jadyn, Krystle, Maria, and Lizzy, and even further still through his great-grandchildren, Riley, Reece, Norah, Gavin, Braxton, and Addison — names carried forward like stars over calm water. He is also lovingly and warmly remembered by his siblings, Bobby Adamson, Waneda Adamson, and Brenda Callahan (Danny), bound together by shared beginnings and lasting love.
On February 11, 2026, Earl laid down his rod at last. No more waiting. No more long goodbyes. He has been reunited with the love of his life, Rebecca Sue Adamson, who went ahead of him in 2022 and saved him a place at the bank. Now they fish without limits, and laugh without time, and finally sit side by side, the way it was always meant to be. Those who loved Earl will gather again, lines cast in his honor, stories shared aloud. A celebration of life fishing get-together will be held at a later, warmer date, at Craig Park where the water will remember him, and so will we. Though the shore feels quieter now, his love remains, steady and sure, flowing through every life he touched, until we meet again beyond the water’s edge.
