Earl Francis Hopkins

Earl Francis Hopkins, 84, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at St. Vincent Clay Hospital. He was born on November 16, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Edgar and Beryl (Barker) Hopkins. Earl attended Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis, and married Marcia Clayton on February 14, 1976. After 25 years in the retail grocery business and opened Earls Vending Service, he finally retired after 13 more years of service. Earl was a very active member of the Zorah Shrine, Scottish Rite, Masonic Lodge #264, Eagle Lodge #274, Moose Lodge #780, and the International Optimist Club. In his free time he loved watching sports, bowling, and supporting local sports teams. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, two sisters, Patricia Hopkins and Alice Hopkins; as well as three brothers Milton, William, and Edgar Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday April 30, 2019 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with Pastor Jason Dean officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. He will be laid to rest at Carmel Cemetery in Carmel, Indiana.
