Elnora "June" (Stallcop) Foreman

Elnora June Foreman, 98, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born in Putnam County on September 25, 1925 to the late Hobart and Frances (Beaman) Stallcop. June graduated from Reelsville High School in 1944 and married William Carl Foreman on October 4, 1946. She attended Indiana Business College in Indianapolis and was the oldest living member of the Croy’s Creek Congregational Christian Church. June worked at Inland Container in Indianapolis, Kroger in Terre Haute, as well as for the South Putnam School Corporation as a teacher’s aide at the Reelsville Elementary School for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, sister, Norma Jean Steele, and an infant sister.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Kaye (Tim) Jenkins; son, Mark (Jamie) Foreman; sister, Carolyn Sue Bartley; grandchildren, Bradley (Stephanie) Jenkins, Breanna (Jeff) Dalbey, Brooke (Daryl) Foreman, Amanda (Joe) McKinney,  and Brianna McCown; great-grandchildren, Natalie Walker, Ty Joslyn, Bryan, Jordyn and Grayson Dalbey, Aria Bullman, Bryce Spencer, Alexis Mimms, Taylor Wilson, Adrian Moser, Cooper McKinney and Joey McKinney; as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Croy’s Creek Congregational Christian Church in Reelsville with Pastor Paul Zurcher officiating and burial to follow at Croy’s Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Croy’s Creek Cemetery.
