Brazil, Indiana

Evert L. Arnett, 89, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Exceptional Living Center in Brazil. He was born on March 20, 1931 in Wolf County, Kentucky, and worked at Logan Clay Factory and retired from Tri Industries in Terre Haute. 

Evert loved being outside, hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with family. He was an avid archer, winning many 3D tournaments throughout the years. Mr. Arnett was preceded in death by his mother, Maudie (Keeton) Arnett; wife, Dora Arnett; sons, James and Barry; daughters, Mary and Lena; Great-Grandson, Brody Starkey; as well as his siblings, Dollie, Glen, Naomi, Callie, and Barbatine.

Survivors Include:

    Daughters:    Wanda Winn, Terre Haute, Indiana

            Debi (Michael) Head, Brazil, Indiana

            Norma Sue (Dan Holland) Stultz, Brazil, Indiana

    Sister:        Martha Sue (Darvin) Snyder, Florida

    Grandchildren:    Brandy Arnett, Lena (John) Clayton, April Finch, Mary Stone,

                Loni (Steve) Budd, Christina Barnett

    Nine Great-Grandchildren

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Moore Funeral Home in Brazil with burial to follow at Calcutta Cemetery. The family will accept friends for visitation on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
