Fred Henry Fislar, 77, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Morgan County, Indiana on October 22, 1941 to the late Max and Jane (Whickersham) Fislar. Fred graduated from Cloverdale High School in 1959, and later served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a truck driver most of his life, retiring from Refiner’s Transport. Fred was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.
In his free time he loved racing of all forms, and was an avid sports fan, watching the Pacers, Colts, and the Reds. His greatest pastime was playing music in his band the Nashville Connection, and spending time with friends and family.

Grandchildren: Eric, Quentin, Aidan, Katie, James Jr., Leo
Four Great-Grandchildren
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Zion Cemetery in Poland.
